We love sharing Salt & Acres with our community and seeing the meaningful memories created here. From family portraits and senior photos to engagement sessions, branding photography, and creative projects, our grounds provide a beautiful Colorado backdrop.

Salt & Acres is privately owned property. To protect our guests, staff, and grounds, all organized photography sessions require a purchased Photography Pass and advance written approval.

This includes professional photographers, hobby photographers, amateur photographers, portfolio sessions, and planned photography sessions for friends or family — even if no money is exchanged.

Personal snapshots taken casually while visiting Salt & Acres as a guest do not require a pass.

Choose Your Photography Pass

Individual Photography Pass | $100

One approved photography session during our regular business hours in designated public spaces.

After-Hours Photography Pass | $250

One approved photography session outside regular business hours, for up to two hours. Includes the additional staffing fee required for after-hours access. Dates and times are subject to staff availability.

Monthly Photographer Pass | Starting at $500

Designed for photographers who regularly use Salt & Acres as a backdrop for their sessions.

Photographers must submit a proposed list of photography dates and times for the month. Every session requires advance approval and written confirmation. Purchasing a monthly pass does not guarantee availability, reserve specific dates, or provide unrestricted access. After-hours access requires separate approval and may incur additional fees. 

How to Schedule

1. Purchase your pass.

Select the Photography Pass that fits your needs.

2. Email info@saltandacres.com.

Include the following information:

• Your photography business name or your personal name if you are a hobby photographer

• Your contact information, website, and social media (if applicable)

• Proof of liability insurance

• Requested date, time, and session duration

• Type of photography session

• Proposed dates and times if purchasing a monthly pass

• Any props, equipment, or indoor photography requests

• A list of everyone attending your session

3. Receive written approval.

All sessions must be approved in advance. Purchasing a pass does not automatically confirm your session or authorize property access.

4. Complete the liability waiver.

Every adult attending or participating in the photography session must sign the Salt & Acres Photography Liability Waiver & Property Use Agreement. Parents or legal guardians must complete the required documentation for minors.

5. Check in and check out.

All attendees must check in at the Tasting Room upon arrival and check out before leaving. Our team will record attendance and arrival and departure times.

The lead photographer will receive a Photography Pass lanyard that must remain visible throughout the session.

Important Property Guidelines

• All sessions must remain in designated, approved public areas.

• Indoor spaces, private buildings, event spaces, agricultural areas, and restricted areas are not included without specific written permission. Feel free to speak with us via email if you want to get creative here. We are open to exceptions if this is discussed ahead of time.

• All props, special setups, and equipment must be approved in advance.

• Sessions may not interfere with guests, events, or regular business operations.

• All professional photographs posted to social media must tag @saltandacres directly in the photograph.

• Photography must be tasteful and appropriate for a family-friendly environment. Boudoir, nude, and sexually suggestive sessions are prohibited.

• Everyone associated with the photography session must be identified and comply with our property policies.

• Unauthorized photography sessions or business activity may result in immediate termination of the session and loss of future photography privileges.

• Entering the property outside approved hours without permission is prohibited, even if the gate is open.

• If anything is broken or damaged during your time, you are liable for the replacement value. 

All participants must complete the required liability documentation before the session.

Salt & Acres reserves the right to approve, decline, reschedule, or restrict photography sessions based on property availability, operations, and compliance with our policies.
