The time has come- Prosper Fields is ready to make its debut!
As some of you may know, the spirit of Salt & Acres will always been spreading joy and creating beauty. Through the flower field production on our 45 acres farm, Prosper Fields has taken root. Located on the south side of the property we have been dedicating the better part of a year to creating and growing flowers. These flowers have been grown with the intention of spreading love and joy to you, our community, and giving back to the beauty of this land by helping the pollinators and nature in general.
Like all things farming, we are at the mercy of the Earth and weather and it was a very interesting start in spring to get everything moving. With all the rain, hail, and weather, we are not accustomed to in Colorado, it has been a slower start. The last month or so you may have seen arrangements in our tasting room when you visited and this was a sneak peak of what we have created. However, we are so thrilled to say that we are now in a place where we can make our flowers available to you!
Starting this week we will have bouquets and arrangements available for purchase at The Tasting Room and at The Barn (our merchandise shop) during our business hours. You will also be able to order arrangements based on available flowers.
All of our bouquets will be a mixture of what what is ready to be harvested that week. This month we are harvesting the following flowers: Lisianthus, Amaranth, Bachelor Buttons, Statice, Strawflowers, and more.
Up next we have dahlias, zinnias and cosmos! We are not being harvesting these just yet but they will be ready soon!
